Kody Gabriel Hersh was this year’s J.M. Ward Distinguished Quaker Visitor. Kody is well-known among Friends but this is how he describes himself: is a queer, trans Quaker youth worker who writes, agitates, and geeks out about sexuality, religion, and radical peace and justice work. He is a member of Christian Peacemaker Teams, and lives in Philadelphia on occupied Lenape land.
When he was here he gave a public talk called, “Tea-Time in the Apocalypse: Spiritual Grounding in a World of Chaos.”
